How about a moldy strawberry to start your Saturday morning? Horff!

Actually, no, it's not how I'm starting my morning. My morning started four hours ago. Being sick and having a temperamental sleep habit because of it resulted in me being awake the moment I realized I had the slightest bit of sunlight in my window [and do trust me, it was slight]. The boy was just used to getting up early like that anyway thanks to work. So our day started at 7 am, though nothing really interesting happened aside from him going "today's gonna suck, I don't wanna!" Oh, and the mutual rapings. Yummy.

I seem to be a really good massive disgusting sneeze away from normal health, which makes me a happy camper indeed. I had some God-awful tension in my shoulders and neck, making me think that a release of toxins massage thing my mom gave me a few days before I got so sick might have been the culprit for why I got so randomly sick. But yeah, that tension is gone and I'm happy for it. It sucked and gave me headaches. Wah.

So I'm gonna try to cut three things out of my diet, maybe even the diet of the household: sugar, wheat flour, and high fructose corn syrup. The last one ... doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell in the way of the family doing it, but the first two I have health reasons for. See, the last several months I've been plagued with urinary tract infection after bladder infection after urinary tract infection, etc. I was vaguely aware of sugar fucking it up, but not wheat flour. And those are basically [from what I understand] the only two dietary things that make infections like that get so bad so quickly (well, that and caffeine but aside from the occasional coffee take out soda and I'm not much of a caffeine consumer ... oh, and I'm not a "lush" at all, so no alkiehawl). The yeast multiplies or something gross like that. So, cut those two out, and in theory I should be able to take control of the problem enough to either 1) not have to go on meds again or 2) go on meds and have them actually work long-term.

We'll call it my super-late New Year's Resolution.

By the way, random thought: don't pursue a constantly healthy lifestyle, because then when you get sick, you have nothing to turn to to flush your system and you end up like my sister's health nut friend who had a yeast infection for eight months or something crazy long like that.

Okay, well, I'm gonna go get myself some water and some more fruits and maybe even some vitamins. I feel like stealing a catchphrase, so live long and prosper. Vulcan hand sign thing.
