"That's probably a good thing. In the same way that each cigarette takes seven minutes off your life, playing D&D delays the time it takes for you to lose your virginity by seven days."
This is a recent comment I got on an earlier blog entry. Why do I find this amusing? Cos I'd still be a virgin were it not for Dungeons and Dragons. It's true! It's how I met The Boy in the first place, and I stayed over to play the night before we got together. Also, no one in our group's a virgin, so go figure.
Okay, I was tagged by Whenn to give 8 facts about myself. I don't have people to tag, I'm too lazy for rules, so here we go:
1. See above.
2. I used to have a best friend who was weirdly connected to my family by birthdays. She was a Gemini and I a Scorpio, while her mom was a Scorpio and mine a Gemini. Her mother was born on my grandmother from my dad's side's birthday, while her father was born on my granny from my mom's side's birthday. Vweirdness.
3. I have two dents in the middle of my shins. They come from a concert I went to for my fifteenth birthday, where basically, we got stuck sitting on our knees. If I moved to apple cross, I couldn't see, and if I even semi stood, a guard would freak.
4. Mr. Fab's postcard to me from a couple weeks ago sits proudly on my fridge.
5. I should be a few inches taller than I am, but I was put on steroidal allergy medicine as a twelve year old. Another reason I'm not fond of UC Davis.
6. Actually, in truth, I'm glad my growth is stunted cos right now The Boy and I are the same height and I know that if I ended up taller than him I probably wouldn't have been interested. Yes, I am an asshole like that.
7. I once won a beach towel on AOL, but this was before I was internet addicted so by the time I went to claim it I was three days too late.
8. Until I was about six, I hated music. Or so I claimed. In truth, I hated loud music. It'd interfere with my thinking. Now I want to be a musician. Hee.

Found this meme thing on Panda Jr's blog.
1. What, exactly, is it that you like about "Closer"?
Natalie Portman. The writing that is less American film more English theatre. The fact that the first time I saw it I gasped at several of the things said when I rarely offend. Oh, and Natalie Portman.
2. How long have you known you have Tourette's Syndrome?
I don't have Tourette's; I just take great pleasure in yelling obscene things at the people who piss me off. Like small children for instance.
3. What all parts of your body do you shave?
This is a convenient question for explaining a (not fake for a laugh) quirk of mine ... I have great issues with the concept of using a razor. No, really! And even the idea of waxing makes my eyes water, so I'm left with two things ... Nair and scissors. So, to answer, I take care of the arm pits when they get bad, and I take care of the girly parts when I want to feel especially sexy. Nair worked on my legs one and a half times ... now I just get random bald splotches like an old man's hair line.
4. If you could have anyone in the world for a pen pal, who would it be?
This reminds me of when I was about eight and wanted Melissa Joan Hart to be my best pen pal friend. Mostly because it was a memory just on my mind a couple days ago. But to answer for now, I suppose Steven of SURS on Fuse. Mostly because I aspire to have his job someday.
5. Would you rather spend eternity in a cauldron of boiling oil, locked in an igloo, or sitting in a pot of honey and why?
The oil would fall under my fear of being burned to death, one I developed thanks to Silent Hill, so no. I actually (well, in comparison to the 60 degree winters) enjoy the 100+ degree summers, so no igloo. The honey could work for its kink factor at least once or twice, so yes. It would actually be quite enjoyable until Winnie ate me.
Now, leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions.
You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Gakked From Write on Track
Turn your MP3 or Ipod on. Choose all your music and turn the player on random. (I don't know about you, but I always have my MP3 on random). Press forward to each question and use the song title to answer each question with your own comments added.
So this is my MP3 oracle:
1.How are you feeling today?
HISTORY- Funeral for a Friend
I actually have been feeling rather insightful into my last couple years for a month or so now, but not today oddly. But this band does always make me think of a friend of mine who I had a little bit of drama with today, so that works I s'pose
2. Will you get far in life?
YOU OWE ME AN IOU- Hot Hot Heat
Not financially that's for damn sure.
3. How do your friends see you?
OVER NOW- Sugarcult
They're ... over me? Cool?
4.Will you get married?
YOUR TIME IS NEAR- The Caesars
This is odd considering I don't have plans to get married ... am I gonna be forcefully eloped?
5. What is your best friend’s theme song?
LONDON BECKONED SONGS ABOUT MONEY BY MACHINES- PANIC! at the Disco
Nope, rofl.
6. What is the story of your life?
UNDERSTANDING IN A CAR CRASH- Thursday
...I feel stupid even trying to understand that one.
7. What was high school like?
TRYNNA FIND A WAY- Nelly Furtado
Yes, I listen to Nelly Furtado, shut up; I just don't plague myself with that "Promiscuous" shit. Well, I was always trying to find a way to get out what little I had to do, so that works.
8.How can you get ahead in life?
TROLLEYWOOD- Eisley
Prostitution in Hollywood!
9.What is the best thing about your friends?
GRADUATION DAY- Head Automatica
I ... just ... don't know.
10. What is in store for this weekend?
LUCKY DENVER MINT- Jimmy Eat World
I'm gonna get lucky in Colorado while eating mints.
11. To describe your grandparents?
BRAND NEW COLONY- Postal Service
OH, I KNOW THIS ONE! My grandmother on my father's side was raised a Nazi in Germany during WWII. That means a new colony of blonde haired blue eyed perfection!
12. How is your life going?
DEBBIE- Sugarcult
"Debbie was a lesbian yesterday."
13. What song will they play at your funeral?
PATRICK- June
I have no idea. "Is this what you wanted?"
14. How does the world see you?
HUSH SAID THE QUEEN- Ten Falls Forth
They want me to shut up. I'm fine with that, but that doesn't mean I'm about to.
15. Will you have a happy life?
LIKE MOTHS TO FLAME- Thrice
Happy, yes, long, no.
16. What do your friends really think of you?
PREVENT THIS TRAGEDY- Alkaline Trio
I'm a tragedy? They think I'm prone to tragedy?
17. Do people secretly lust after you?
AUTUMN EFFECT- 10 Years
Yes. I was born in November, and I'm a scorpio, thus it's the Autumn Effect to just love me instantly.
18. How can I make myself happy?
RADIO PLAYER- Allister
Yes, music does make me happy. Very happy.
19. What should you do with your life?
PISTOLA- Incubus
I should be an assassin. But rather than use a pistola, I'll use the boy's idea: give a guy head, and then right when he's having an orgasm, blow into his dickhole as hard as possible. The pressure will cause his penis to explode inside and he'll bleed to death within a few seconds. Delicious.
Or, you know, the song is about writing. I could do that as well.
20. Will you ever have children?
LILY DREAMS ON- Cotton Mather
I will, but they will be surrogates for a woman named Lily.
21. What song would you strip to?
WINDING ROAD- Bonnie Somerville
That ... is ... impossible ...
22. If a man in a van offered you candy, what would you do?
MONEY- Pink Floyd
I'd give him money for it. Or tell him that if he was gonna rape and kill me he'd have to fork over the dough first.
23. What does your mum think of you?
BRIGHTLY WOUND- Eisley
My mom does think I stress and freak easy. It's true.
24. What is your deep dark secret?
RISE AND FALL OF BILL- Big Japan
Monica Lewinsky didn't sleep with Bill Clinton: I DID! Who cares if I was only like six when that happened!?
25. What is your mortal enemy’s theme song?
SUMMER '79- The Ataris
This does make sense cos this is my least liked song by this band.
26. What’s your personality like?
BRAIN STEW- Green Day
This was true until I found replacement pain pills.
27. Which song will be played at your wedding?
BREATHE- Anna Nalick
A song about a break up ... at a wedding ... huh.
I did one of these about a year ago and that one made SO much more sense it freaked me out. This one just kind of sucked.
Also, for anyone who may care, I figured out the end of the Silent Hill movie. You have to watch it a few times and listen to what everyone says but yeah. If anybody is a fanatic like me, let me know and I may make a post to explain.
So today I had plans to meet up with a couple friends and the boy. One friend went to Elk Grove, the boy got caught up in some issues with his taxes, and then there's my friend's mother. If I go into the details of it I'll kill a kitten, but basically she cancelled on us like always because I'm there. And she made it a fucking last minute change also, like always. Cunt. I hate that word, but it fits her nicely. But I get to see the boy tomorrow and it's been almost a week so it'll be nice.
Let's just hope I don't have some sort of breakdown like I've been having since I got the teeths pulled.
