So I've been contemplating making a blog that tracks my school progress for next semester. Sort of a place where I can put what I've learned, important notes, due dates, and try to get other people to talk to me about it so it all potentially sticks better, and probably also talk about the extra-curricular stuff I'll be doing. Plus I find that thus far I've been less dependent on my note taking and studying skills and more so on my abnormal memory which sure, hasn't yet gotten me less than a B, but also tends to just remember random ass factoids instead of the important stuff in the long run.

My point I guess is that I'll be most likely doing this anyway for my own sake, but my question is would anyone else find it to be an interesting read or what-have-you? I'm taking Group Discussion, Adobe Photoshop, and The Human Lifespan, and then in the way of for-fun things I'm considering Improv Club, Gay Straight Alliance, and auditioning for one of their plays.

In an unrelated note, I really hate hearing good things about Hairspray. There's just something really wrong about remaking a John Waters film with Zac Efron and John Travolta in drag. In my mind, it'd be like remaking The Birds with Paris Hilton, or Gone With The Wind with Justin Timberlake. Meaning, it's a freaking classic (although that may be an exaggeration when speaking of the original Hairspray) so 1) why remake it and 2) why use such actors!?

This is actually quite a spectacular idea, if I may say so myself.

Also, a podcast update: there is a high chance the first episode will be up tomorrow! There was a communication error and all this time I was being low on the priority list by the needed friend/assistant/slave monkey because she wasn't aware that the ball was already rolling on other guests. So tomorrow should be our day, but if not it'll be very soon. You can't see, but I'm doing a happy dance.

I'm also gonna cut my hair. Possibly very short, maybe just thinned a lot. It gets so knotted so fast between length and thickness that now when I do my once a day hair brushing it comes out in clumps the size of pennies. "Brush more times a day," some of you say. Fuck you, I respond. I don't like keeping constant maintenance on my hair at all, once a day works for me. And I know that when I have my short hair, I don't even really need to do it once a day; the need for brushing cuts down assloads, which makes me happy indeed. I'm not so sure when I'm going to do such a thing but I'm looking forward to it.

So here's a question for the bloggers out there in the interweb...

I've been toying with the idea of opening a forum for bloggers and maybe even blog readers. Nothing all that fancy actually, just a proboards or something like that. And the purpose of it would be, well obviously to make friends with fellow bloggers, but also there'd be a section of the board for pen pal projects. Things like mix tape swaps and red robin notebooks and such craziness. I don't know, I've been in the mood for something like that for ages now ... since I joined a Pen Pal guild on Gaia during my obsessive times with it and found out that nobody was all that interested in becoming my friend. Insert me taking my RAZR to my wrists here.

Back to point, if myself or someone else (no, fuck others, just me, haha) were to open something like that, one would you join, two would you be active, three would you actually participate in the pen pal stuff? Please take thirty seconds and give an honest response :D

EDIT EDIT: Non-members of blogger can comment now. I was wondering why this post was being ignored ...

EDIT: Also, I think someone should assassinate Fred Phelps for being a fucking dickhead.
